The Swan House Estate, located at the Atlanta History Center, is a well known and popularly toured historic home in Atlanta, Georgia. This classic white mansion was built in 1928 and is truly a photographer’s dream! With an impressive lawn that invites a couple for dancing, the grand staircases that symmetrically wrap on either side, ornate and unique architecture that begs for photographing, a fountain that seems as large as the house itself and impressive gardens all the way around the grounds….it’s no question as to why the Swan House has been the backdrop for many movies (you may recognize this as President Snow’s White House from the Hunger Games) and TV shows.

When Kristen & Brett first told us they had chosen the Swan House for their engagement session as well as their outfit choices, we literally started counting down the days, full of excitement! This has been a location that we have dreamed of using as a backdrop! When the day finally arrived, it did not disappoint! The Swan House is even more gorgeous in person! Words…nor images…can even describe! We can’t wait for Kristen and Brett’s wedding this Summer at Ashton Gardens in Atlanta!
