Anthony and Brooke’s dreamy rustic-glam wedding at Plantation Farms in Byron Georgia will always be a favorite for us! Not only because it truly was a perfect day, but also because Brooke is a colleague and a close friend who is very near and dear to our hearts. Since we had the privilege of capturing all the special moments from the beginning, photographing their exciting surprise proposal, and then their gorgeous, romantic engagement session at High Falls, we were (almost) as excited as Brooke that the BIG day had finally come!
Brooke is the owner and lead artist of Brooke Smith Beauty in Middle Georgia. She has worked her magic on many of our former brides and even styled her own makeup on her day (along with a few of her bridesmaids, too)! We absolutely loved that she chose to carry over the rich maroon tones from her wedding palate into her makeup! It was flawless! Also, can we just take a moment to talk about how much we adored Brooke’s Essence of Australia wedding dress from J. Andrews Bridal? It fit her like a glove and was one of the most stunning gowns we’ve ever seen!
We can totally understand why Brooke and Anthony chose Plantation Farms for their special day. It is such charming venue and fit their rustic and glamorous vibe perfectly. A lovely barn adorned with quaint chandeliers overlooking a peaceful horse pasture? Yes, please! It was the ultimate backdrop for their sweet and intimate ceremony.
Probably our most favorite part of Anthony and Brooke’s day was getting the chance to celebrate with so many of our colleagues and friends! Fellow photographers, cake designers, DJ’s, hand-letter artists, florists, all coming together to celebrate is a memory we won’t soon forget! Thanks to Brooke and Anthony for asking us to be a part of their day and a huge kudos to all of the vendors who helped make Brooke and Anthony’s dream a reality! It truly was one of the best days ever!
