Michael and Lauren’s Modern Southern Magnolia Inspired Wedding was absolute perfection!! Michael and Lauren are both originally from Georgia, but didn’t meet until they were in medical school together. They both ended up matching to a residency in Shreveport, Louisiana and soon after moving half way across the country together to start their new jobs, Michael popped the question and the planning began!! It was a gorgeous Spring day in May and we met Lauren and her bridesmaids at Carnegie Library in Dublin where the girls were all getting ready. Excitement filled the air as Lauren’s mom and sister helped her into her stunning gown while Michael anxiously waited outside to catch the first glimpse of his bride! After the first look, all of the nerves had vanished and Micheal and Lauren couldn’t stop smiling! We headed next door to Theatre Dublin for a few portraits where the couple had a marquee created especially for their big day! From there, we met up with the bridal party and finished up portraits at a gorgeous plantation style home in downtown Dublin which fit perfectly with Micheal and Lauren’s Southern Magnolia theme. The ceremony was held at Dublin First United Methodist Church where Lauren’s family had been long time members. The aisle was lined with candles and the church was full of gorgeous florals designed by one of our favorite florists, Mindy with Luella Floral. It was such a sweet ceremony complete with the guests all participating in communion, which was incredibly meaningful for both Michael and Lauren. After the ceremony, guests were invited to Rinesdi Banquet and Event Barn where the celebration continued! Mindy and her team at Luella Floral transformed the barn into one of the most gorgeous reception spaces we’ve ever seen! We loved the lanterns, florals and all of the special details Micheal and Lauren chose including the Georgia shaped sugar cookies provided as take-home favors for guests. The reception was a blast and guests stayed on the dance floor right alongside Michael and Lauren all night long!
