M’Kade & Rachel | An Elegant Spring Garden Wedding at Tryphenas Gardens | Perry, Georgia Wedding Photographers

There is just something magical about springtime in Georgia and Rachel and M’Kade’s Elegant Spring Wedding at Tryphena’s Garden was no exception! M’Kade and Rachel have been sweethearts since their early teen years so this day was truly a real-life dream come true! We first met Rachel and M’Kade several years ago while photographing a wedding that Rachel’s mom Alexa was catering and they were working. Alexa is the owner of Celebrations by Alexa and not only is she an amazing caterer, she is one of the most giving and loving people we know! Since the very first time we all worked together, Alexa and her catering crew became like family to us!

The day couldn’t have been more perfect.  It was a warm, sunny day and the gardens were in full bloom. Rachel looked absolutely radiant and we loved how excited M’Kade was to get a glimpse of his bride!! Their first look was one of the sweetest we’ve ever witnessed. Rachel and M’Kade both come from very large families, so they hold the record for the largest bridal party to date, with a total of 16 Bridesmaids and Groomsmen (which were all siblings) and 15 children that served as the cutest little ring bearers, flower girls, and sign holders!! The two wrote their own vows and we can guarantee that there was not a dry eye anywhere! All the tears! The florals, decor, and food were all over the top! Guests were treated to yummy Shiver Shack Saved Ice to help them cool down from the warm temps, and take home treats were our personal favorite, Whoopsie Pies from Lisa Mae Cakes! If you haven’t heard of them, check out our featured post here! We especially adored the cake table full of home-made cakes of every flavor and the wall of donuts as a late night snack!! Since Rachel and M’Kade’s day ended up being the same day as Jessica’s birthday, they surprised her with her very own cake complete with the traditional Happy Birthday sing-along! After dancing the night way with our friends Legacy Events 119, M’Kade and Rachel ended the night by running through a flood of streamers surrounded by their closest family and friends.

There is just something special about being a part of a wedding among friends. We had the honor of photographing Rachel’s older sister Lauren’s wedding back in 2014, and will be photographing Rachel’s brother Jared’s wedding next month. These guys truly are all like family to us and we can’t imagine our lives without them in it! The vendors and people we are blessed to work with on a weekly basis are some of the best kind of people and we don’t take it for granted! Cheers to many many years of happiness to M’Kade and Rachel, and to all of our vendor friends (aka “friend-ors) that we are blessed to work with on a weekly basis, we love you guys!!We love that M’Kade and Rachel wanted to throw on their Celebrations by Alexa aprons since this is their usual wedding attire!
